<---- Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 ---->

Grammar: Part 7

A prayer to the grammar gods:

I woke up!
What to do?

Lesson twenty-two: temper

Balance, moderation, etc. = an average life.

The word "etc." in Hungarian is "stb." It stands for “s a többi” (“and the rest”).

If we don't want mediocrity, how about some temper?

Temper sounds bad, doesn't it :)

The word "temper" in Hungarian is "indulat." It comes from “indul” (“begin”) + “-at” (noun-forming suffix).

Tired = mistakes.
Mistakes = how we learn.

Even-tempered = calm.
Calm = how we learn.

Let's play.

Lesson twenty-three: asking for toys

Let's ask for something. Let's put a '-t' on what we want.

toy: játék
toy we want: játékot

Let's ask for more!

toys: játékok
toys we want: játékokat

Lesson twenty-four: playing

Now that we have our toy/toys, what can we do?

We can

We are going to do more with personal endings when we come to verbs.
But not now.
It's getting late.
Time to rest.
